Living in Ohio

An historic village feel.

Perrigo Nutritionals Ohio is in Covington, a village in west-central Ohio. We celebrate our roots each year during the Fort Rowdy Gathering, a festival each fall at the wooded banks of the Stillwater River, where our 209 foot portable footbridge connects the pre-1840s encampment to Covington Community Park. Covington is a close-knit rural community, and within 15 minutes are Troy and Tipp City, which offer nice, safe neighborhoods and plenty of places to shop and eat. Schools in Troy and Tipp City are among the best in the area.

Several community colleges, the University of Dayton and Wright State University are about 40 minutes south of Covington, in Dayton. Dayton’s metro area offers shopping, dining, metroparks, sporting events and bike trails. The region is home to the Great Miami River Bike Trail, the largest paved bike trail in the country at 52 miles long.

As a village of about 2,500 residents, we boast all things good about a small town atmosphere. We are about 30 miles from Dayton, OH, which offers amenities of a bigger city, and within two hours of three metropolitan areas of Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis, IN.
