I'd been working in newspapers for 10 years when the opportunity to work at Perrigo fell into my lap. It felt like the right time to try something different.
In my job in the Perrigo Art Department, my skills as a proofreader meld perfectly into my new role as a typesetter. I typeset packaging for a range of over-the-counter drugs and supplements. I have to make sure that the type matches what our regulatory department approves. I also crosscheck my peers' work.
Perrigo is part of an industry that is growing by leaps and bounds, and that's exciting. (Plus, because Perrigo can be flexible with my schedule, I'm able to be home early in the afternoon to see my daughter.)
